How to request account deletion

The process is simple and transparent.

1) Send us an email

Write to our support address from the email account connected to your WhisperingPlaces profile, or clearly mention that registered email address in your message.

2) Use a clear subject

Please use a subject such as Delete my account so we can process your request faster.

3) We process the request

Once we verify the request, we will delete your account and the associated data covered below.

What data will be deleted

When your deletion request is completed, we aim to remove the personal data linked to your account.

Deleted data

  • Your WhisperingPlaces account profile
  • Your name and email address associated with the account
  • Your saved profile preferences and user-provided settings
  • Your app-related saved travel data connected to your account
  • Other account-linked data stored for app functionality

Data that may be retained temporarily

  • Limited technical or security-related records if reasonably necessary
  • Data that must be kept for legal compliance, fraud prevention or dispute handling
  • Backup data that may remain for a limited period before automatic deletion
Important: Any retained data is kept only where necessary and only for the minimum time reasonably required.

Processing time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 7 days.

In some cases, processing may take a little longer if additional verification is needed or if certain technical backups need time to expire. However, the active account itself will be scheduled for deletion as soon as the request is confirmed.

  • Your registered email address
  • A short message requesting deletion
  • Any helpful detail that lets us identify your account correctly

Please note

  • Deleting your account may be permanent
  • You may lose access to saved preferences and app-related history
  • If you create a new account later, it will not automatically restore deleted data
